~A Heart Can't Lie!~

~I have had that poem in my mind for decades but kept putting it off until I decided to put this poem to paper.

This poem could have been written in two ways, one towards love and the other towards indifference/no compassion for another person.

As I was writing the words down they were going towards the indifferent heart and the poem would have been a hateful one,

so, I re-wrote it, changing a few words, with love in mind. This is the result.

A heart truly cannot lie, one can try to camouflage its feelings for another person, but in the end the heart shows the true colors of a person. One cannot remove what's in one's heart, be it love or hate, it is there being true to one's self!
